Meet the Design Team

Meet John, Kelly and Elizabeth Kidd.  John and Kelly have been on staff for six years and have served at Virginia Tech, the University of Maine and are now at the University of Virginia.  John and Kelly are pioneering Lifelines and Growth Model Ministries in the Mid-Atlantic region; check out their ministry at www.LifelinesUVA.com.  This will be their second Leadership Adventure summer project and both of them are pumped to be involved again.  John and Kelly's lives were radically changed by this projeect and they will bring a lot of passion to the material and philosophy this summer.  John is an AMGA top-rope site instructor as well as a Wilderness First Responder.  He will be guiding rock climbing trips and other outdoor activities as well as coaching staff.  Kelly will be helping with the Mom's ministry, and coaching staff.

 

 

 Meet Dan and Heather Litchfield with their two kids: Caleb and Emma.  Dan and Heather are the catalytic directors for Maine and northern New Hampshire.  In their eight years on staff they have served as campus staff at the University of Maine Orono and have had the joy of helping build Growth Model Ministries from the ground up.  They have been members of the design team for the past three leadership adventure projects, and have coached other staff in growth model ministries.  Dan and Heather add flavor to the project through Dan's steadiness and wisdom and Heather's boundless energy.  Both Dan and Heather are certified Wilderness First Responders, licensed Maine White-Water Guides and Maine Recreational Guides.  Dan is also a Maine Sea Kayaking Guide.  Heather will be helping to direct the mom's ministry on project.

 

 

 

Meet Joe and Angie Cousins and their dog Indy.  Joe and Angie have been married for three years and actually met on the Leadership Adventure Project in 2001.  See, you could meet your future spouse on this project!  Angie and Joe have been leading the Lifelines ministry at the University of Maine for the past three years.  Joe has been on staff with Lifelines for five years and Angie has been for three.  Joe is a Wilderness First Responder, AMGA top-rope instructor, and has his level I and II whitewater guide's license.  Angie is also a registered Maine Guide for whitewater.  They look forward to meeting you in Acadia!
