Welcome to the Acadia Lifelines Summer Project!

Connecting students in relationship with each other and God...

Dates of project: May 31 - June 28

Come join us for 4 weeks of intense fun, adventure, character development, and outreach training. Acadia National Park in Maine will be the classroom, we are the guides, the Word is our authority, and you, the Body of Christ, make growth happen.

Leadership, character, and outreach skills are best learned from life and being in situations that will challenge and change us. We use outdoor activities like whitewater rafting, rock climbing, hiking  and biking to help you grow in the areas of bonding, developing boundaries, dealing with good and bad, and becoming an adult. As you experience these in a grace and truth environment you will grow and see life change.

Please check out the menu on the left for tons of other information.

Project size: ~30 students, ~15 staff.  Devote a month in 2008 to the Acadia
Leadership Adventure Summer Project and we believe it can change your life and ministry to make an eternal difference.  Make your life count.  But don't just take our word for it, come and see for yourself!

"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!  All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself through Christ, not counting men's sins against them.  And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation."   -2 Corinthians 15:17-19

What makes Acadia strategic?
  • Acadia National Park, in "Vacationland", is one of America's most visited national parks
  • Maine is the least-churched state in the country, and part of the northeast region- a long time training ground for overseas missions
  • Mount Desert Island is the "cool" place to work for the summer; teaming with college students looking for both money and excitement
  • The park is the home of outdoor adventure, where the mountains meet the sea, an ideal location for process learning in the context of the outdoors
See what others have to say...
